Workshop –Learn  Garden Photography Tips & Techniques with Danielle Durocher.

Danielle will discuss tools and techniques to help you ‘see’ photographs in the garden before taking a shot and you will gain insights into macro close-up photography along with tips and tricks for working with light and color.

Bio:Danielle Durocher is a native of NH and a 13 year resident of Windham.   Her love of flowers, color and design coupled with a natural interest in art are the foundation of her passion for perennial gardening and digital photography.

Jim O'Toole manager of Dodge Grain in Salem will share practical information, tips, and stories about raising poultry for eggs, food or pets.
Bio: Jim O'Toole grow up in Lincoln Park MI attended High School at South gate MI earned his B.A. Yankton College, SD.  He has been employed at Dodge Grain since 1994 managing and selling poultry.  Dodge Grain was  founded in 1926 selling Livestock and Poultry for food in Salem New Hampshire.

Topic: Old Fashioned and New Fangled Geraniums given by Kari Allard

Kari will speak on the best ways to grow and care for geraniums, along with showcasing some of the new and interesting varieties and scented plants. 

Bio: Kari Allard and husband own and operate Tulip Tree Farm in Hampstead NH, has a degree in Horticulture from Stockbridge School of Agriculture, UMASS Amherst.  She has worked in the horticulture field for 28 years and has been growing geraniums professionally for about 15 years.  She grows annuals, perennials, herbs and vegetables for sale at their farm stand.  They also raise Cotswold sheep, chickens and pigs, whose products are also for sale at the farm.

Elene Arguropoulas has BS/MS in Chemistry, certified herbalist and completed her herbalist apprenticeship under Master Herbalist Wendy Fogg, Misty Meadows
Herbal Center  in Lee, NH as well as continuing ed courses with various
instructors over the years. Her focus, herbally, is treating animals. Elene current career path is in horticulture and NH certified landscape professional. the Perennials Manager at Lake Street Garden Center in Salem and also a landscape designer.
