I. WELCOME
AND INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm at
the Windham Town Hall by 1st Vice President Denise Sarnie

COMMITTEES:
HORTICULTURE
COMMITTEE WORKSHOPS – The committee will start taking donations for their
“Bottomless Pot of Gardening Goodies” for the 2010 Plant Sale Raffle.
PLANT SALE COMMITTEE – Jill Martin and Shirlee Dallas had sign-ups for
perennial pre-sale for members and also for a container workshop in June.
Anyone needing a spring dig at their home should contact Jill.

COMMITTEES/EVENTS:
ANNIVESARY PARTY
COMMITTEE – Josie Cappiello reported that pictures are still being scanned for
the slide show presentation. Cookie Santerre reported the invitation
committee was actively working on a design for the party invitations. Shirlee
Dallas asked for recipes from members that they had made for club functions,
so they could be complied for a booklet at the party.

ART in BLOOM –
4/24 –4/26, Jerry Parsons and Su Bennett went to the first meeting and
received their art inspiration, it is an European-Dutch painting, entitled
Barnyard Fowl and Peacocks.

CLUB HISTORY/
SCRAPBOOK – Early judging dates, Sam reported the committee had 2 pages left
to complete and would make the deadline.
DAFFODIL DAYS –
Joanne Ago, Committee Chair, the dates are 3/22-3/27, all wrapping is done at
a central location and shipping was done through FedEx. They would need help
with delivery to schools and public sales. Joanne had sign-up sheets for
Transfer center, Howie’s and Village bean locations.
FIELD TRIPS –
Boston Flower Show, 3/24-3/28, anyone interested in carpooling to the show?
NH FLOWER SHOW –
Mary Ellen from the Federation is looking for a Ribbon Chair, there will be an
initial meeting in Bow, NH in April.

TO SHARE: Linda German, raffle tickets will be arriving in member’s mailboxes
shortly.

Shirlee Dallas, need volunteers to plant
pumpkin seedlings and grow pumpkins for the Windham Fall Festival Event.

REFRESHMENTS - HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE
THIS MONTH’S THEME – St. Patrick’s Day with a
green cone centerpiece covered in hand-dipped green chocolate fruit and of
course Irish soda bread!
