WINDHAM GARDEN CLUB MINUTES OF REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING January 18, 2007 The meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm at the Windham Town Hall by President Jill Martin. 1st VICE PRESIDENT: Josie’s email address has changed-she will have Julia send it out to everyone Again, any ideas or requests for programs for next year – please let Josie know 2ND VICE PRESIDENT: No new info TREASURER: Financial Statements posted SECRETARY: Prior meeting Minutes posted on the website + on the bulletin board PRESIDENT: Club History (used to be the Scrapbook) needs pictures or articles on any committee activities Send or give to Jill or Lisa Errede NHFGC is collecting labels for the NHFGC Nature CampVisit www.labelsforeducation.com for list of products + point valuesJudging of NHFGC individual garden club’s Publicity Books at Jill’s home on Jan 26 at 10am WGC volunteered to judge since we did not submit one Reminder: start thinking about Awards for this year + Officers for next term (of 2 years) Description of Awards is in the Yearbook OUTDOOR VENTURES at Massabesic Audubon Center – Holly Hanford - Great programs for children + adults in various NH locations, Holly has the flyer- visit the website nhaudubon.org HORTICULTURE COMMITTEE – Cookie Santerre- Needs chairperson or co-chairpersons for next year - Shirlee + Cookie will remain members + help the new Chair(s) - Short presentation of New Plants for 2007 will be at the February meeting - Sharing table at our meeting – please take some of the literature/catalogs home with you
SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE – Grace Marad - Two $2k Scholarships will be awarded again this year - Letters will go out soon; deadline for applications is March 31, 2007
