WINDHAM GARDEN CLUB

MINUTES OF REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING

Feb. 18, 2010

 

I.      WELCOME AND INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm at the Windham Town Hall by 1st Vice-President Denise Sarnie

The Officers present were

               President         

               1st Vice-Pres      Denise Sarnie - Programs

               2nd Vice-Pres     Julia Salafia

                Treasurer           Jean Manthorne

               Secretary          Rhonda Peckham

 

The Officers excused were Bea Heinze

 

The following people were welcomed:

PRESIDENT:  A note from Bea, she attended the Pine Island Garden Club meeting in Florida, the lecture was on ETHNO Botany of the Calcusa Indians & Native Plant History.  She also had the pleasure of sitting with Marjorie Vander Kruik, former President of Old Homestead Garden Club, 1999-2002.  Marjorie is editor of PIGC yearbook and gave Bea a copy to review.
