WINDHAM GARDEN CLUB
MINUTES OF REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING
April 20, 2006
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm at the Windham Town Hall by President Jill Martin.

PLANT SALE – UPDATE –
Shirlee Dallas- Bring extra pots to Shirlee’s house
- Sign up sheet to help water plants at Shirlee’s
- Sign up sheets to help pot bare root plants
- Pick up your perennial orders at Shirlee’s by Sun, May 7
SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE –
Grace Marad- 7 applicants - all from Windham - currently being reviewed by committee
DAFFODIL DAYS – Joanne Ago + Claire Fauth
- Weather was very nice + the flowers were in awesome condition
- WGC raised $4,644.70 for the American Cancer Society
- Delivered to more than 30 businesses in town
- Klemm’s matched what was sold at his location +the Hair Salon employees sold them for us, too
- Claire Fauth presented the WGC a Certificate + a Daffodil Flag
for being one of the top performers in NH
ART IN BLOOM – starts Sat, April 22
- Denise + Evie promise to bring in pictures of their creation
- The piece of art they have to work with is an Egyptian husband + wife
RAFFLE – Linda German
- sell, sell, sell those tickets - an additional prize from Robin – a beautiful bracelet + earring set – thank you!
BREAST CANCER WALK – Robin Heider
- Robin will be doing the 3-day walk in Boston and she needs to raise at least $2,200 - If you can, please support her - she’ll be walking 60 miles
- To donate online, go to www.the3day.org and click on "donate"
- Or you can send a check directly to her, made out to "Breast Cancer 3 Day"

AWARDS – check the list of Awards in your Yearbook and make a nomination or two
Just write the name + the Award on a piece of paper or put it in a sealed envelope + give them to Jill
